Our Focus

As the National PIRC Coordination Center, SEDL and HFRP produce resource materials and information geared to parental involvement and student achievement, conduct training and technical assistance events, conduct site-visits, and provide technology services to help PIRCs carry out their core programmatic, management, and accountability activities. The Miko Group, Inc. provides logistical and program management support to the national center.

Sixty-two PIRCs in every state, the District of Columbia and the outlying areas were awarded PIRC grants in this grant cycle. The Coordination Center will serve all of these PIRCs by supporting management capacity, improving service delivery, compiling and providing access to research-based materials and effective practices regarding parent training and parental involvement that contribute to improved student academic achievement.
